Terry@aquiltingblog is the winner of a free issue of Quiltmaker 100 Blocks, Vol. 6 for correctly guessing the bottom right hand corner block on the cover; I'm so honored to be on the cover again & congratulations, Terry!

I love all the different colors with the star. I am going to make a Christmas pillow with the block for my mom's present. She does a lot of work with the History of the Civil War, The War of 1812 and the Revolutionary War. I think it would make a beautiful quilt for a Veteran or anyone who loves the colors and stars. I hope I win so I can use some of the new fabric and the book in time to make the pillow by Christmas.
