  55. There is a special place in my heart for anything Civil War. I grew up in an area rich with that history and my dad is a re-enactment buff. I had no idea it was a quilting theme. Now I'm going to have to look into making one for my dad. The designs are so neat. Thanks!

  70. I was looking through your civil war battle series...there is a teacher who has taught my 3 youngest children and is an avid civil war/re-enactment buff. I am a modern quilter, but would love to make one of your quilts for him as a thank-you for the time spent teaching in the classroom and coaching on the field :) They are beautiful.

  71. Gracious! Your patterns are beautiful! I live in Maryland near Gettsyburg, so I love the Civil War designs and the names. We have also lived in Charleston SC so I really like Ft. Sumter pattern especially. It's funny, but the names of your patterns are really perfectly matched to the designs! I'm bookmarking your website for my hubby, for those "but I don't know what to get you" moments.
